“With careful assessment and correct diagnosis of your health concerns, I am confident that we can set you on the path of healing and living pain-free, energetic and well.”

Meet Dr. Soni

Shreya Soni is a compassionate and dedicated doctor.  Strong ties to family and cultural tradition have cultivated her appreciation for diverse therapies, including Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and western medicine.

During her studies in biomedical engineering at University of Virginia, she noticed a stark gap in the treatment of chronic diseases. While the U.S. invests the most money in healthcare, statistics of chronic disease rank behind other developed nations.

Dr. Soni seeks to address this gap by bridging traditional therapies with the best prevention modern medicine has to offer. She received a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, and completed her residency at the University of California Irvine.

Since then, Dr. Soni has helped patients recover and live pain-free from a range of health concerns, including: pelvic pain, hormone imbalance, and gastrointestinal distress. In her spare time, she enjoys painting.  Her artwork is available to browse on: www.shreyapaints.com

About Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine emphasizes prevention, treatment, and optimal health through the use of treatments that promote the body’s inherent, intelligent self-healing process. The practice of naturopathic medicine combines the wisdom of nature with the rigors of modern science and evidence-based research.
Training to become a licensed naturopathic doctor takes four to five years, including over 1400 hours in clinic. In practice, licensed Naturopathic Doctors collaborate with other medical professionals and make referrals to specialists for additional testing or treatment when necessary. The result is a comprehensive, patient-centered approach that maximizes patient choice while empowering patients to be accountable for their own wellness.
